1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a case, sending digital files, or requesting services from ZiNGO Digital Dental Lab, the doctor, clinic, or dental practice agrees to these Lab Terms & Payment Policy.
ZiNGO operates as a digital dental laboratory. Cases are accepted through digital scanner workflows. STL is the preferred production format; PLY, OBJ, and other compatible digital formats may be accepted when compatible and approved by the lab.
2. Digital-Only Case Submission
ZiNGO accepts digital case submissions only.
Accepted digital files may include STL, PLY, OBJ, or other compatible digital formats when approved by the lab. STL is preferred for production. PLY and OBJ files may be accepted when compatible and lab-approved, including when color or texture data is useful.
ZiNGO does not accept physical impressions, stone models, physical bite registrations, or mailed physical case materials as a standard workflow.
If additional digital information or a different compatible file format is needed, the lab may request STL files, updated digital files, digital bite information, photos, shade information, implant details, or other digital case records before production begins. ZiNGO may place a case on hold if submitted files are incomplete, incompatible, corrupted, or unsuitable for fabrication.
3. Prescriptions and Clinical Responsibility
All restorations and dental devices are fabricated according to the doctor’s prescription, written instructions, and submitted digital case records.
The doctor or clinic is responsible for all clinical decisions, including but not limited to:
-
case diagnosis and treatment planning;
-
tooth preparation design and quality;
-
margin accuracy;
-
bite and occlusion records;
-
shade selection;
-
implant system and component selection;
-
clinical seating and final adjustment;
-
verification of the restoration in the patient’s mouth.
ZiNGO is responsible for fabricating the restoration or device according to the submitted digital files, prescription, and lab-approved workflow.
4. Case Intake and Required Information
A case is considered received only when ZiNGO has access to the required digital files and case instructions.
Required information may include:
-
doctor and clinic information;
-
patient name or initials;
-
Rx / prescription instructions;
-
tooth number or unit number;
-
service type;
-

-
due date request;
-
digital STL files preferred; PLY / OBJ or other compatible digital files when approved by the lab;
-
digital bite information when needed;
-
implant system, platform, connection, Ti-base, scan body, or component details when applicable.
If information is missing, unclear, or clinically inconsistent, the case may be placed on hold until clarified. Turnaround time may be adjusted accordingly.
5. Turnaround Time
Turnaround times are estimates and begin only after the case is fully received with all required digital files and instructions.
Cases placed on hold due to missing information, unclear instructions, missing implant details, file issues, or doctor/clinic approval delays may have adjusted delivery timelines.
Rush service may be available at the lab’s discretion and may be subject to additional fees.
6. Pricing
Pricing is based on ZiNGO’s current price list, clinic-specific price list, or written agreement with the doctor or clinic.
Each unit or service is billed according to the prescription and accepted case details.
Additional charges may apply for:
-
rush service;
-
special requests;
-
shipping or courier service;
-
additional design work;
-
non-warranty remakes;

7. Billing Schedule and Payment Terms
ZiNGO may issue invoices per case or as part of a consolidated monthly billing statement, depending on the clinic’s account setup.
For standard monthly billing, ZiNGO issues a consolidated monthly statement for completed and delivered cases from the prior billing period, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Standard payment terms are Net 30 from the invoice date.
Alternative payment arrangements may be offered to approved accounts at ZiNGO’s discretion.
Accepted payment methods may include ACH, check, credit card, or other approved payment methods.
Credit card processing fees may apply where permitted.

Accounts that become past due may be placed on service hold.
While an account is on hold, ZiNGO may pause:
-
acceptance of new cases;
-
production of active cases;
-
shipment of completed cases;
-
access to extended payment terms.
Service may resume once the past due balance is resolved or a payment arrangement is approved by ZiNGO.

Shipping, courier, or delivery fees may be billed separately.
Risk of loss transfers to the carrier upon shipment, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
10. Quality Guarantee

30-Day No-Hassle Remake Policy
ZiNGO provides one complimentary remake per affected unit or eligible restoration within 30 days of delivery for eligible lab-related issues, subject to case review and ZiNGO’s warranty terms.

-
photos;
-
updated STL files or other compatible digital files;
-
updated digital bite information;
-
shade clarification;
-

-

Every remake request is handled quickly, professionally, and without unnecessary debate. Our goal is to support the doctor, protect the patient experience, and continuously improve our quality standards.
Additional remakes are reviewed case by case.

The coverage period depends on the restoration type, as set out below. Each warranty is limited to remake, repair, replacement, or credit up to the original lab fee paid for the affected unit, at ZiNGO’s discretion. Warranty coverage begins on the date of delivery, unless a verified placement date is provided by the treating dental office. All warranties apply to the treating dental office/client account only, are not direct patient warranties, are non-transferable, and require the account to be in good financial standing with ZiNGO.

If implant components are selected or supplied by the clinic, the clinic is responsible for compatibility, authenticity, condition, and clinical suitability.
ZiNGO is not responsible for failures caused by inaccurate implant information, incompatible components, non-standard components, worn components, or incorrect clinical use.
15. Cancellations and Case Changes
If a case is cancelled or changed before production begins, no production fee may apply.
If a case is cancelled or changed after design, milling, printing, sintering, finishing, staining, glazing, or other production steps have started, ZiNGO may bill in full or in part depending on the production stage, material use, and labor already completed.
16. Digital Files and Case Records
Digital files submitted to ZiNGO are used for fabrication, communication, quality control, compliance, and operational recordkeeping.
ZiNGO may retain digital case files, design files, production records, photos, invoices, and communication records for operational, quality, business, and compliance purposes.
The clinic should avoid unnecessary patient-identifying information in file names when possible.
17. Confidentiality and Patient Information
ZiNGO uses submitted case information only for providing dental laboratory services, case communication, billing, quality control, compliance, and operational recordkeeping.
The clinic should limit patient-identifying information to what is reasonably necessary for the case. When possible, patient initials or case identifiers should be used instead of full patient names.
If patient information is submitted, the doctor or clinic confirms that it is authorized to share the information with ZiNGO for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations purposes.
ZiNGO will maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect submitted case information.
18. Doctor Portal and Case Tracking
ZiNGO may provide access to a doctor portal or digital case tracking system.
Portal information is provided for convenience and communication purposes. In the event of a discrepancy between portal information and ZiNGO’s internal records, invoices, or written communications, ZiNGO’s internal records and official invoices control.
Doctors and clinics are responsible for protecting their portal login credentials and notifying ZiNGO promptly of any unauthorized access.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZiNGO’s liability is limited to remake, repair, replacement, or credit up to the original lab fee paid for the affected case or unit.
ZiNGO is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to chair time, clinical fees, patient refunds, lost revenue, lost profits, or costs charged by another laboratory.
20. No Clinical Advice
ZiNGO provides dental laboratory services only.
ZiNGO does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, make clinical decisions, or provide dental care to patients. All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating doctor.
21. Updates to Terms
ZiNGO may update these Lab Terms & Payment Policy from time to time.
The current version will be posted on the ZiNGO website or provided upon request. Continued use of ZiNGO’s services after updated Terms are posted or provided constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
